UMI Complete Lowering Kit For F-150 - Adjustable Coilover Front & Multi-Option Rear (umi656063-1)

Drop your F-150 into a sleek, aggressive stance with real performance to match. UMI pairs coilover front springs and heavy-duty brackets with a shackle/flip rear and Viking double-adjustable shocks to dial ride height and handling for street, canyon runs, or local autocross.

Why it hits

  • Adjustable stance, front & rear: Fine-tune ride height for looks, aero, and geometry.

  • Viking double-adjustables (19/19): Independent 19-click compression and 19-click rebound to sharpen turn-in and ride control.

  • Stronger, smarter hardware: Double-shear front mounts work with factory lower A-arms; HD 4-position shackles with squeak-free Delrin bushings.

  • Street & race proven: Balanced spring rates and damper tuning keep it daily-drivable—until you twist the knobs.

Drop ranges (vehicle dependent)

  • Front: 1.5–4.0" (coilover adjustable)

  • Rear (2WD): 3.5–5.0"

  • Rear (4WD): 4.0–6.5"

Most trucks align happily with ~3–4" front drop on factory A-arms.

What’s in the box

  • UMI front coilover assemblies (springs + mounts)

    • Spring rate options: 600 lb/in (2WD), 850 lb/in (4WD)

  • Viking shocks front & rear19 comp / 19 rebound clicks

  • Rear shackle/flip kit with 4-position shackles (Delrin bushings)

  • UMI brackets and U-bolt plates (with shock relocation holes; see p/n 6564)

  • 2.5° pinion shims + transmission spacer (dial in driveline angle)

  • Longer leaf spring pins and new bump stops

  • Hardware & instructions

  • 100% Made in USA

Fitment notes

  • Leaf springs: Works with steel or composite leafs.

  • PowerBoost: Does not fit PowerBoost (driveshaft clearance).

  • Headlight level sensors: Trucks equipped with sensors (many Platinum/Lariat) require bracket p/n 6576.

  • Alignment: Book a professional alignment after install (set factory camber, maximize positive caster within spec).

Ride & handling

  • Daily driver to track-adjacent: Use low-speed compression to curb body roll and rebound to control oscillation.

  • Balanced geometry: Coilover front keeps the nose planted; rear shackle/flip + pinion shims maintain smooth driveline manners.

Install overview

  • Direct bolt-in design — no welding.

  • Front: Swap to UMI coilovers using double-shear mounts (compatible with factory lower A-arms).

  • Rear: Install flip kit/shackles, set the shackle position, add pinion shim/trans spacer to correct driveline angle.

  • Finish: Set shock clicks baseline (e.g., 8C/8R), check tire/wheel clearance, road test, then align.

Quick specs

  • Position: Front & Rear (complete lowering system)

  • Front spring rates: 600 lb/in (2WD), 850 lb/in (4WD)

  • Rear shackle: 4-position, Delrin bushings

  • Adjustability: Front coilover height; rear shackle positions; shocks 19C/19R

  • Noise control: Delrin pivots for quiet operation

  • Warranty: Limited (manufacturer)

  • Made in: USA

Builder’s checklist

  • Choose spring rate for your drivetrain (2WD = 600, 4WD = 850).

  • Set your target drop; verify wheel/tire clearance at full lock and compression.

  • Plan for pinion angle setup using included shims/spacer—critical for smooth cruising.

  • If you run headlight level sensors, add p/n 6576.

  • Re-torque after 100–300 miles and after aggressive driving.
