K&N Cold Air Intake — Roto-Mold HDPE, Enclosed Airbox
Let the 5.0 breathe. This K&N intake uses a high-density, roto-molded HDPE tube and an enclosed airbox to feed cooler, denser air—delivering a verified +15.07 hp and +19.66 lb-ft with no tune required. The oversized, oiled High-Flow LIFETIME Air Filter™ is washable/reusable, so you’re not buying paper filters again. Under normal highway use, you can run up to 100,000 miles between cleanings. Sound? A deeper growl on throttle, quiet at cruise.
built to howl, tuned to win.
Why It Hits
-
Real, repeatable gains — dyno-proven +15.07 hp / +19.66 lb-ft without touching the ECU.
 -
Cooler, cleaner air — enclosed airbox shields intake charge from engine-bay heat.
 -
HDPE flow tube — smooth interior, larger volume, consistent IATs.
 -
Reusable for life — six-layer cotton media + K&N oil; service instead of replace.
 -
Driveability first — stronger tip-in and pull, quiets down at speed.
