Basic Install Overview

Bolt-on cat-back. A lift helps. Penetrating oil and a torque wrench make it painless.

  1. Prep

    • Let the exhaust cool. Disconnect battery if working near valve harnesses.

    • Soak factory clamps/hangers with penetrant. Lay out the CORSA kit in order.

  2. Remove Stock Cat-Back

    • Loosen mid-pipe/clamp connection(s).

    • Unhook the system from rubber isolators (support the weight as you go).

    • Carefully drop the OE cat-back in sections.

  3. Build the New System

    • Slip-fit the front pipe/X-pipe to the mid-pipe connection—snug clamps (don’t fully torque yet).

    • Hang the mufflers on factory rubber isolators.

    • Install tailpipes and position 4.5" dual-wall tips (slash, straight, or carbon) to taste.

  4. Align & Clearance

    • Center tips in the valance, set even depth/angle.

    • Check for driveshaft, brake line, and heat-shield clearance at full droop.

  5. Torque & Test

    • Torque band clamps evenly from front to rear to manufacturer spec.

    • Start the car, check for leaks, let it heat-cycle, then re-torque after a short drive.
