Engineered for serious Coyote engine builders, the Boundary V8 Billet Oil Pump Gear delivers superior durability and reliability in high-performance applications. Precision-machined from billet material, this gear withstands extreme RPMs and sustained boost pressures that stock components cannot handle. Direct fit for 2011+ Ford Coyote engines in Mustang and GT350 platforms. Upgrade your oil circulation system to match your engine's output and protect your investment during track days and spirited driving.
Also available as MartenWear Treated or Vane Ported.
Why It Hits
High RPM, two-steps, and boost can shock the stock pump gears. Boundary’s billet set shrugs it off—maintaining oil pressure when harmonics and throttle transients are at their worst. Whether you’re chasing PBs at the strip or running long sessions on road course, stable oil pressure = engine life.
Vehicle Fitment
-
2011+ Mustang GT 5.0 (Gen 1–3 Coyote)
-
2012–2013 Boss 302
-
2015–2020 Shelby GT350 / GT350R (5.2L Voodoo)

Billet steel inner & outer pump gears (direct replacement for OE powdered-metal gears)
-
CNC precision-machined, heat-treated, and finish-ground for tight, consistent clearances
-
High-RPM/boost capable — built to handle the shock loads that crack OE gears
-
No tune required (mechanical upgrade; works with stock or built engines)
-
Track-proven durability for drag, roll-race, and road course abuse
Recommended Pairing (Strongly Advised)
-
Billet crank sprocket — complements OPGs to further reduce failure risk at high RPM
-
Fresh front cover/crank seals & OE crank bolt (torque-to-yield) during reassembly
-
Quality assembly lube and oil-system priming on first start
What’s Included
-
(1) Inner billet oil pump gear
-
(1) Outer billet oil pump gear

Installation notes (general guidance)
Tech Notes / Install
-
Professional installation recommended. Requires front cover and timing components removal.
-
Inspect pump housing for scoring; replace if damaged.
-
Prime the oiling system before initial start; verify hot idle and WOT oil pressure.
-
Typical shop time: 4–8 hours depending on supporting work (OPG + sprocket + timing service).

FAQs
Do I need a tune after OPGs?
No—this is a mechanical reliability upgrade. No calibration changes required.
Are OPGs necessary for NA builds?
If you regularly see high RPM, run a two-step, or road-race, OPGs are cheap insurance even NA.
Why pair with a billet crank sprocket?
Harmonics that break OE gears can also hurt the factory sprocket. Upgrading both closes the loop on rotating-assembly reliability.
