Keep crankcase pressure under control and oil out of your intake—especially when you’re in boost. This vented, dual-can setup is built for 2011+ F-150 5.0 Coyotes and works on both NA and forced-induction trucks. Under wide-open throttle, a sealed/recirculated can will pressurize and push oil where it shouldn’t go. A proper vent-to-atmosphere system lets the crankcase breathe, protecting ring seal, bearings, and turbo health.
Wild 5 take: this is the no-nonsense catch-can solution we run on boosted builds. It drains fast at the track and just works.
Why It Hits
-
Boost-safe design: Vented to atmosphere so the crankcase can relieve pressure at WOT—no pressurizing the can or engine like recirc kits do.
-
Cleaner intake, happier turbos: Reduces oil mist ingestion that fouls intercoolers, throttle bodies, and compressor wheels.
-
Quick track-side service: The lower can half unthreads so you can dump it in seconds between passes.
-
Durable hardware: Billet cans, stainless elements, AN fittings, and push-loc hose for a clean, secure install.
What’s Included
-
(2) On 3 Performance Billet Catch Cans (vented)
-
(2) Stainless filters
-
(2) 10AN ORB → 10AN 90° fittings
-
(2) 10AN push-loc straight fittings
-
6 ft of 5/8" push-loc hose
Note on fittings: This kit reuses your factory quick-connects. Carefully cut the OE hard line to remove the quick-connects, then slide the push-loc hose over the OE fittings. If your truck is missing them, you can source replacements at most auto parts stores.
Fitment
-
2011+ Ford F-150 5.0L Coyote (all common trims)
-
Works with NA and turbo/supercharged applications
-
Compatible with most aftermarket intakes and engine covers (routing may vary)
Install Notes
-
Basic hand tools; plan your hose routing away from heat/sharp edges.
-
Reuse OE quick-connects: Cut OE plastic hard line cleanly, push hose fully over barbs, and verify clamp security.
-
Mount cans upright and accessible for service.
-
After initial drive, recheck clamps/lines for weeping or chafe points.
Service: Check fill level regularly on boosted trucks; track use may require more frequent draining. Unscrew lower can to empty—no tools needed.

FAQs
Can I run this on a boosted truck?
Yes—that’s exactly what it’s for. Vented design prevents crankcase pressurization at WOT.
Why not tie the can back into the intake manifold?
On a boosted setup, that will pressurize the can and crankcase, pushing oil past seals and into the intake. Venting avoids that failure mode.
How often should I drain it?
Depends on driving/boost. Street trucks: inspect at each oil change; track/strip: check between events or passes.
Compliance
Vented crankcase systems may be for off-road/competition use where required by local law. Check your regional regulations.
