Built to howl. Tuned to win. This OEM long block is the real 2024 Mustang Dark Horse™ 5.0L foundation—and a stout upgrade for 2024 Mustang GT builds. Ford’s latest Coyote architecture blends dual (DI + PFI) fuel paths, Ti-VCT, high-flow heads, and dual-throttle architecture to support the Dark Horse’s factory 500 hp capability when paired with the correct induction, exhaust, and calibration.

Install notes (read before you wrench)

  • Break-in with correct oil spec and procedure recommended by the manufacturer/tuner.
